AsukaBook: Wedding Coffee Table Albums
The 10x10 (60 side) AsukaBook comes standard in our Basic & Deluxe packages; however, many people don't have a clue what an "AsukaBook" is! So, in an effort to clear up confusion, I thought I'd take time to explain a little bit about this industry standard wedding coffee table book. (More on the album included in our Elite package later...)
Examples of two page (or two side) layouts (images taken and layouts designed by Daniel Howell Photography):
We chose AsukaBook for several different reasons. First of all, the quality is superb. While, some consumer oriented book printing companies have recently broken onto the photography scene, AsukaBook's printing quality and color cannot be matched by any. Secondly, the prices are reasonable. If you choose to add on additional albums (other than the 10x10 than comes with the Basic/Deluxe packages), you won't have sticker shock - AsukaBook keeps their printing process relatively low, so that we, the photographers can pass them on to our clients.

FAQ about AsukaBooks:
Question: I see that 60 sides come in my 10x10 AsukaBook, what constitutes a side?
Answer: Example - a spread in the book (what you see when you open up the middle) is a two page (or two side) spread.Question: Who picks out the images that go in my AsukaBook?
Answer: We, the photographers chose the images that will best tell the story of your wedding day. However, we do allow suggestions from you (up to 25 images).Question: Will I get to see a proof of my album before it's ordered?
Answer: Yes, we post electronic proofs of all two page spreads on our website.
Question: Once the album is designed, can I suggest changes?
Answer: Of course! The purpose of having a proofing page is so that you can suggest changes. We ask, however, that you limit the changes to 15 total image swaps or 4 total side changes. We are flexible on this, but remember, as photographers we are experts in telling your story!
Question: How long after my wedding will I receive my AsukaBook?
Answer: It depends. After your images are edited, and we receive your image suggestions for the album (up to 25 images), it will take two weeks for the design process (NOTE: We do not use purchased templates, our album design is completely custom to you.) Then, after you approve the design, it will take about four weeks to receive the album from AsukaBook. So, a conservative estimate is 6 weeks after your edited images are posted (so, all in all, approx 10-12 weeks after your wedding).
